DESCRIPTION:The North Texas LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce welcomes Deirdre Walsh\, Founder and Executive Director of In Good Company Institute. Deirdre's presentation will help attendees strengthen their workplace culture and improve trust\, engagement\, and community impact. IGCI is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization who works exclusively with employers to provide nonpartisan education\, tools\, and guidance built for real workplace dynamics. Modern leadership comes with new pressures\, including rising expectations from employees\, an unpredictable political climate\, and a culture shaped by polarization that increasingly shows up at work. These issues often have a negative impact on the visibility and capability of the LGBTQ+ and other BERGs. IGCI works with you to translate this complexity into practical\, workplace-ready action. Attendees will learn about programs that can turn civic engagement into a workplace superpower you didn't know you needed. The North Texas LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce is committed to helping our Impact Partners engage and retain their employees. We invite LGBTQ+ BERG leaders to invite their Executive Sponsors\, Government Relations\, and a leader of a partner BERG to attend. We want you to be able to safely and confidently share IGCI information with others who can help launch civic engagement programs in your workplace.\n\nStanding at the crossroads of business and community\, the North Texas LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce is in a unique position to offer connection\, expertise\, and resources to help LGBTQ+ BERG leaders sustain the business case for their BERG programs.
