Join Equality Texas & Resource Center for our 2025 Regional Advocacy Day training in Dallas, Texas in preparation for the 2025 Texas legislative session! The 89th legislative session begins on January 11th and we anticipate another challenging year for LGBTQ+ Texans. The time for Action is now. This training will provide attendees with: 

• An update on the current state of LGBTQ+ equality in Texas, including key legislative developments from the 2023 session
•   Training and tips for providing testimony at the capitol
•   Guidance on how to effectively meet with your lawmakers 
•  Ways to engage in advocacy efforts at the capitol

 North Texas Community Engagement and Advocacy Strategist, Gordy Carmona, will be leading this training. 

Anyone interested in standing up for LGBTQ+ equality and helping fight harmful bills is encouraged to attend. Let's work to protect our community and ensure equality for all Texans!
