LGBTQ+ B/ERG Alliance Quarterly Meeting

LGBTQ+ B/ERG Alliance Quarterly Meeting

Friday, November 15, 2024 (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM) (CST)

Description

This month's LGBTQ+ B/ERG Alliance meeting includes a special panel - Attacks on DEI and Discussions How to Defend Against Them. The North Texas LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce has put together an expert panel and moderator to discuss recent DEI Legislation and Rulings including the ban at colleges in Texas, the UNC/Harvard opinion and Blum vs Fearless Fund, and how employers can continue practicing DEI while minimizing the risk of being challenged.

This event will take place virtually and in person in the Polsinelli Dallas Office. Breakfast will be provided for all in person attendees.

Our B/ERG members and guests are welcome to invite their Executive Sponsor or any other team members who make DEI decisions in your company.

For now, mark your calendar for Nov 15. Stay tuned for an update on the program along with the moderator and panel and a link to register for the event.

About the Host: At Polsinelli, we are a different kind of firm. One that loves a challenge. One that loves to collaborate. One that is strategically designed to be your teammate. Every Am Law 100 firm offers skilled legal representation. But we are much more than that; we possess a sincere desire to offer humanity, compassion, and true partnership to both our clients and each other. We’ve created a new type of firm — we are what a law firm should be.

About the LGBTQ+ B/ERG Alliance: Launched in 2022, the LGBTQ+ B/ERG Alliance connects and empowers LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) across Texas. Through networking, programming, and knowledge sharing, the Alliance fosters a supportive community for LGBTQ+ B/ERG leaders and promotes LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace.
