SMU LGBTQ+ & Allies Networking Reception

Description

LGBTQ+ & Allies Networking Reception, hosted by the Hegi Family Career Development Center, Cox Career Management Center, Lyle Career Development Center, and Women & LGBT Center. This reception is a space for students, alumni, and employer partners to connect, build community, and learn from one another while celebrating and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. This event is designed to foster meaningful conversations, expand professional networks, and highlight the experiences and contributions of LGBTQIA+ professionals and advocates across industries. This reception is not a hiring event, but it is an opportunity to connect with SMU students, alumni, staff, and employer partners in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Through conversation and networking, participants can share professional experiences, provide career insights, and help students build meaningful connections as they explore potential career paths. 

We are specifically seeking organizations that are committed to fostering inclusive workplaces and creating environments where LGBTQIA+ employees can thrive. We would love for the North Texas LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce to be represented at this event and would love to welcome members of the Chamber to participate. There is no cost to participate, and organizations are welcome to bring multiple representatives.
