At the North Texas LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, our dedication to achieving equality through business is a year-round commitment. Yet, June, with its vibrant celebration of Pride Month, holds a special significance.

It's a month where our community experiences heightened visibility. From colorful flags adorning businesses to the energy of parades and festivals, the LGBTQIA+ community steps into the spotlight for 30 days. This increased visibility fosters a sense of belonging and recognition.

Pride Month also amplifies the presence of our allies. Brands proudly modify their logos, elected officials deliver empowering resolutions and proclamations, and individuals feel emboldened to openly express their support. This surge in allyship strengthens our collective voice and reinforces the idea that we are not alone in our pursuit of equality.

Furthermore, June sparks a remarkable spirit of collaboration. There's a palpable sense of urgency to support each city's Pride festival, each company's Pride event, and each organization's call to action. This unified effort demonstrates the power of working together towards common goals.

The Chamber is on a mission to achieve equality through business by creating equitable economic opportunity for LGBTQIA+ people. We firmly believe that economic empowerment is a fundamental pathway to achieving equality, freedom, and independence.
